About Me

How does your role allow you to make a special impact on the Public Safety groups?

"As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my role allows me to support Public Safety professionals in ways that are both clinically effective and culturally responsive. I understand the unique stressors of high-risk, high-responsibility roles chronic exposure to trauma, moral injury, hypervigilance, and the expectation to remain composed under pressure. I focus on building trust, normalizing mental-health support, and providing practical tools that help individuals regulate stress, strengthen resilience, and maintain both personal well-being and professional readiness."

Describe some unique strengths and expertise that allow you to overcome common challenges within your role.

"My strengths include strong clinical judgment, emotional attunement, and the ability to differentiate between adaptive survival responses and clinical concerns. I am skilled at working with individuals who may be hesitant to engage in treatment, using rapport-building, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care to reduce stigma and resistance. My experience across crisis intervention, long-term therapy, and systems-based work allows me to navigate complex cases while remaining grounded, ethical, and solution-focused."

What do you do for fun during your downtime?

"During my downtime, I enjoy activities that help me recharge and stay balanced, such as cooking, spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and engaging in creative or reflective practices. I also value quiet time with family and my dog, which helps me reset and maintain the emotional wellness necessary to do this work effectively."
